Curious to see what you think of this. One of our group here in Dallas is overseeing this project for his employer. Keep in mind that the pics below are of a prototype; but they are planning to display it at the national powersports dealer show here in the U.S. next month. Yes, body is plastic and it will be made in China. Engine is 150cc, 4 stroke, fuel-injected GY6. Twist and go transmission (CVT). Disc brakes front and rear. Clearly, not aimed at the hardcore, "vintage or die" crowd but it looks more like a vintage Vespa than anything Piaggio has to offer these days. Reaction over here has so far been mixed. I'm just interested to see what you all think. More info can be found on DFWscooterist forum here: http://www.dfwscooterist.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2481&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Its ok, from a distance you couldnt tell the difference from a vespa really.

There probably is a market for it, how much is it likely to retail for?
That will be a big factor in the sales, also is it designed to be a disposable scoot like alot of the cheaper end. Or vespas in general!! haha.

I would ditch the single seats and go for dual seat. The indicators are a requirement and I suppose they are quite subtle, rather than bodged into the bodywork like a PX -so it still looks oldish.

Like you say, i dont think its for the enthusiasts market, but it is going to be aimed at the aprilia habana or velocifero type buyer I suppose

i like it but the single seats look naff IMHO, not really for the hardcore market but we said that with the cosa Smile a bit if shifts with a 150 4 stroke and light chassis, any info road pirate Question

gerry i find your reply very odd as your mob would cover it in so much comedy mod tat you would be hard pushed to tell them apart from your hidious christmas trees Razz
